Renate Roske-Shelton » Last Before Winter

This painting started with a wonderful surprise gift from a great friend who stopped by my Studio. The colors of this beautiful bouquet of freshly harvested garden flowers were a wonderful reminder of another Canadian Summer coming to an end and the imminent arrival of the First Day of Fall. While flowers may wilt, glorious friendship gestures will be remembered with gratitude and paint!
