This colorful painting was inspired by a series of super-intensive sunsets occurring in the summer months of the Canadian Maritime Provinces. Warm clear air sparkles in an abundance of deep warm pigments of red, orange, golds and streaks of near white and light blue in the sky which are reflected in mirror-like waters. These displays are typically followed by day’s of blandness and veils of fog fully obscuring the horizon in a sheet of white and grey.
