Wonderful sun-rise colors accentuated the sky over Passamaquoddy Bay this early morning in August. The air is clear and the light shines from behind water laden clouds. The forebearer of a turbulent Low pressure weathersystem provides the framing contrast to a fabulous view from Deer Island. The soft pastel colors of reflected sky on water are traversed by the region's ferry boats that can be followed from this vantage point all the way to Grand Manan (over 24 Miles) on a clear day.
