The iconic smoke houses of Seal Cove in Grand Manan Island on the Bay of Fundy represented the glory of Atlantic Canada's Sardine Fisjing Industry. While still providing boat yard work space some of these colorful structures are being converted to vacation cottages with access to the nearby beach. Artist from all over the world have spent time here to capture the colorful athmosphere. On a sunny day the dark shadows of the tall structures provide a wonderful contrast to the entire Seal Cove structures.
