This original acrylic painting on canvas pays tribute to the classical Maritime elements of sheds and dories in a moody mix of twilight colors (loss of bright warm light) and shape transformations and reflections. It is dynamically styled with black ink marking the similarity of shoreline rock shapes and their water-wave reflections. This painting portrays fading rose colours in contrast to the solidity of the prototypical yellow dory of the Canadian Maritimes . Extensive reflections of deep greens and blues prevail in framing of the evening quiet of these subjects.
